TERMS · VERSION 2026-10-25.1
A comparison. Not a verdict.
By using this experimental development release, you agree to the following conditions. These terms describe the current software and its limits; final commercial terms require operator details and legal review before public launch.
What the scale means
Tell shows geometric closeness between a video embedding and examples that the participant labeled truthful or deliberately false. It does not determine whether an answer is true. It is not a lie detector, a calibrated probability, a medical assessment or evidence of deception. Lighting, motion, questions, timing and other unrelated factors can change the result.
Four checks are only an initial check
Matching four new labels allows the app’s comparison flow to continue. It does not establish reliability or accuracy on future questions. Failed attempts remain in the local history. More calibration and repeated checking can still produce misleading comparisons.
Voluntary adult use
The initial public launch is planned for adults in the United States. Use only with adults who freely understand and agree to being recorded and to temporary cloud processing. Do not record covertly, coerce participation, use the service on children, or use an output to accuse, punish or pressure someone.
Decisions this tool cannot support
Do not rely on it for employment, education, credit, insurance, policing, legal proceedings, health, safety or other consequential decisions. You are responsible for your questions, lawful participation and how you handle your device and exports.
Experimental availability and data
The software may be wrong, interrupted or unavailable. Cloud extraction needs connectivity and available capacity. Browser storage and forgotten passphrases can cause permanent data loss. Keep encrypted backups and verify that they restore. Access to the experimental service may be limited while it is tested.
Liability and legal rights
To the extent the law permits, the service is provided without a promise that it will be accurate, fit for a particular decision or continuously available. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
